Millforce Series

The travelling column mills of the MILLFORCE-Series combine fast and exact positioning of the milling heads with excellent stability. Designed for the machining of medium-sized workpieces, they are characterized by outstanding flexibility in the machining of single parts and small or medium-sized series.

Overview

The machines of the MILLFORCE series achieve the highest accuracies by being designed for heavy roughing as well as precise finishing. With the MILLFORCE 1 and 2, this is provided by compact precision linear guidance in all axes. The MILLFORCE 3 is also available with hydrostatic guideways as an alternative.

A high spindle speed range, rapid traverses and acceleration of the axes allow for dynamic machining of the workpiece. Additional equipment permits the perfect adaption of the travelling column mills of the MILLFORCE-series to the requirements in your production facility.

Key Benefits

The bed of the machines is a a strongly ribbed welded steel costruction that reliably damps vibrations, which is the basis for precise machining results. High positioning accuracy and excellent stability are guaranteed by the compact roller guidance with zero backlash in all linear axes.

Milling heads and tools are always precisely positioned this is ensured by the tilt and the stiff box column, which is optimized by FEM and mode analyses.

The MILLFORCE 3 is based on the well proven technology of the PR-series. The machines can be provided with either compact roller or hydrostatic guidance.
